One of the hardest parts about losing weight is keeping the weight off. Since losing 45 pounds on the Dukan Diet over the course of the year 2013, I’m proud to say that I’ve kept off most of the weight.
The few pounds I did regain happened when I tried to eat a “normal” diet. I can have the occasional treat, but no more sugary sweets for me. I still follow a mostly low carb diet, just not as strictly as I did when I was trying to lose weight.

You don’t have to buy Dukan Diet products to succeed on the Dukan Diet, but they sell some tasty options that I really wish I’d had when I was following the diet to lose weight. The Dukan Diet isn’t your run-of-the-mill low carb or low fat diet. You need to read and understand the book before trying it.
Like any diet, it has some restrictions, but after I got used to it, I really didn’t mind. The big thing for me was that I never had to feel hungry. That helped me avoid food temptations. I could always eat something if I felt hungry. If you have trouble following diets because you can’t stand feeling hungry all the time, then the Dukan Diet is definitely worth a shot.
