Amazing Grass offers numerous different powdered and grab-and-go products that provide easy ways of adding more veggies to your family’s diets. The founders of the company mixed green drinks for friends and coworkers starting in 2002, and now Amazing Grass uses a network of small farms all over the country. These farmers grow non-GMO, organic vegetables and fruits.

Kids Can Drink Their Fruits and Vegetables
Parents sometimes have trouble getting their kids to eat enough fruits and vegetables. Government experts recommend three veggie and two fruit servings per day for younger children, or four veggies and three fruits each day for older kids.
Amazing Grass Kidz SuperFood lets kids drink their veggies in a berry or chocolate flavored drink. Mix the Amazing Grass drink powder with milk or water. My 6-year-old tried it with milk and liked it, though some kids might object to it just by virtue of its greenish color. You won’t be able to disguise its veggie content for that reason.
Also, it’s important to mix or shake the powder and liquid very thoroughly so that the powder dissolves completely. Each Kidz SuperFood packet contains 20 calories, 3 grams of carbohydrates and 290 mg of probiotic/prebiotic blend.
You’ll find only real, familiar-looking ingredients on the label, like red cabbage, cranberry, mango and kiwi.
Yummy Veggie Drinks for Grown-Ups
Like kids, adults aren’t all that great at eating enough fruits and veggies. Fortunately, Amazing Grass offers a wide selection of grown-up powdered drink mixes brimming with wholesome ingredients like barley grass, spinach, quinoa, rose hips and sweet potato.
Their Protein SuperFood packs seven servings of alkalizing greens and two full servings of vegetables and fruits into each serving packet, which you can mix with milk or water. Plus, its 20 grams of plant protein per serving helps stave off hunger pangs so you don’t feel the need to reach for an unhealthy snack.
Both the chocolate peanut butter and pure vanilla flavors tasted great combined with milk. They need to be stirred or shaken vigorously in order to make sure the powder mixes with the liquid. The chocolate peanut butter variety of Protein SuperFood contains 190 calories per serving (not including the milk, if used), along with 11 carb grams.
Green SuperFood Options
Amazing Grass Green SuperFood comes in a number of different varieties, including many that offer additional benefits such as immunity, energy and multi-vitamins. You can choose from berry, orange dream, pineapple lemon grass, chocolate infusion, peppermint, pumpkin spice and many more flavors.
As with the other powders, it needs to be thoroughly blended with a liquid, preferably by shaking in a lidded container. The products I tried tasted good, making it a nice option for adding more veggies to your diet. Plus, it’s low in fat and carbs, made in the U.S., gluten free and vegan.
I received sample product packets for use in this honest review.
