If you think losing a few pounds (or quite a few pounds) in time for swimsuit season is a hopeless cause, I feel your pain. Most of us have struggled to lose weight at one time or another.
Diets are an intensely personal thing. No diet is best for every person.
Exercise alone won’t make you lose weight. It will help, though, combined with diet, and you don’t need to join an expensive gym.

No Counting Calories or Restricting Portions

Sure, they look tasty, but I’m not really tempted. I just know I don’t eat those things. People will say things like, oh, you have such willpower, but seriously, there’s very little willpower involved after the first few weeks.
The main reason the Dukan Diet worked for me (and continues to work) is that I never have to feel hungry. If my stomach growls, there are numerous things I can eat. The secret is to ALWAYS have acceptable snacks on hand at home and at work. These include fat free yogurt (such as Yoplait Light) and low-fat cheese sticks (such as Weight Watchers mozzarella).
No Cooking Special Meals or Measuring Portions
One of the tough things about diets for many folks is the time involved in preparing special foods and measuring the right portions. It’s so much easier to cruise through a drive through or microwave a convenience meal!
